"Winter's Christian" aka "Chris"

Christian was just a great dog!  He is what got me crazy for this breed.  In a lot of ways he is responsible for inspiring us to get more involved with the breed and many of the activities that go with it.  I got him as a pup when I was in junior high; and he carried me through high school, getting married, and the first few years of a chronic illness.  Now that I know more about the world of dogs, I realize that I got Chris from a BYB (Back Yard Breeder).  Whether that had anything to do with his untimely death, we'll never know.  He died in my arms of acute liver failure when he was only 10.  It was fairly quick, so we are thankful he did not suffer.  He is still very much missed.
